Lindsay Muston is an enthusiastic individual with a passion for controlling the Indian Myna bird.

The Indian Myna is an introduced species that is a very aggressive bird and displaces native animals that use tree hollows for nesting. 

It is classed as one of the World’s 100 most invasive species. Mynas are now often the predominant bird in urban areas all along the east coast from Cairns to Melbourne. It is making its way into the North East region and is establishing around Wangaratta. 

Hodgson & Horseshoe Creeks Landcare Group is running this information session so you can find out how you can help monitor and control this invasive species to prevent it’s impact on out native species.
