Resource Guide - Managing Your Rural Property

The Resource Guide is a great resource for new landholders in the North East Region. It contains lists of contacts, information on legal responsibilities and requirements related to rural land ownership, planning and much more. The Resource Guide is free to new landholders and is aimed specifically at assisting new, small and lifestyle farm owners.

If you are new to rural land ownership in the North East, and would like a copy of the Resource Guide, please download the request form below, then complete and return it to either your local council office or the North East CMA.

Restoration and Revegetation Guide

The restoration and revegetation guide provides practical information about native vegetation in the North East catchment of Victoria. The purpose of the guide is primarily to assist with the selection of locally native trees, shrubs and ground cover plants that may suit particular parts of the landscape, for a given area or 'zone'.

Managing Your Patch of Bush  

This resource kit is a collection of information about managing native vegetation. It is designed to assist extension officers in providing guidance to landholders about managing their remaining native vegetation. The details are focussed on the North East region of Victoria, but the principles can be applied to a wide range of native vegetation environments.
