Water Unit 2 Water Catchments (SEED Resource)

Description: Students are introduced to catchments and specifically North East Victoria, exploring where the water goes after rain and what land use activities take place in our region.

Water Unit 3 Water Quality (SEED Resource)

Author: North East Waterwatch

Description: Students build on their knowledge of water quality and how this links to the whole catchment. Incorporates Waterwatch monitoring.

Description: Students understand how water travels from a river, through a treatment plant and out of a tap. Includes an excursion to your local water treatment plant.

Water Unit 5 Water Use & Conservation (SEED Resource)

Description: Students will learn about how they use water, they will learn to undertake water audits and read water meters. The unit also allows students to determine how they can save water.

Description: Students will learn what happens to water when it is flushed or disappears down the drain. They will also learn about water reuse and visit a wastewater treatment plan.
