Water Unit 1 Water Cycle (SEED Resource)

Description: Students explore where our water comes from and how much we have on the earth. Students build a greater understanding of the water cycle, the different places we find water, how much water is available for humans to readily use and the three different states of water

Description: Students are introduced to catchments and specifically North East Victoria, exploring where the water goes after rain and what land use activities take place in our region.

Description: Students will gain an understanding how important water is to a number of different users and they wull explore how much water we have to use and how we use the precious resource.

Description: Students will learn and explore why it is important to save water and the implications and opportunities to do so. Students will also understand how they can individually conserve this precious resource.

Water Unit 7 Wastewater Treatment (SEED Resource)

Description: Students will gain a greater understanding of where the water from our schools and houses goes once it has been emptied down the drain or flushed down the toilet. Students explore how the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) treats all our wastewater from the sewer system and how it can be reused after it is treated.
