Victoria’s first integrated catchment strategy (ICM) Our Catchments Our Communities, was released in 2016. This strategy has a focus on strengthening partnerships and community engagement in regional natural resource management (NRM) planning and implementation.
As a part of Our Catchment Our Communities, North East CMA has grant funding to support community leaders in the sustainable agriculture or primary industry sector in the region.
We have 7 scholarships of up to $3,000 (ex. GST) each to participate in professional development to support your leadership aspirations in 2019.
The types of professional development that we would support would include:
Governance Foundations for Not for Profit Directors course (AICD or other providers)
- Alpine Valley’s Community Leadership courses or
Regional Leadership Program (CSU Wangaratta)
If you are interested in applying for these grants, submit by Sunday 5 May 2019 to firstname.lastname@example.org or PO Box 616 Wodonga, VIC 3689.
