New irrigation plan supports productive and sustainable farming in north east Victoria

A renewed North East Sustainable Irrigation Plan has been released by the North East Catchment Management Authority, outlining how irrigation will continue to support farming businesses while protecting rivers, landscapes and community values across the region.

Our North East CMA team were out and about at the Tallangatta Expo! 🌱

The day celebrated sustainable farming, farming equipment and practical ideas for sustainable living, while also providing a great chance to connect with the community and chat about caring for our waterways and landscapes.

Visitors also had some fun matching the fish, with free fishing lures up for grabs for those who got it right! 🎣

Even better, all proceeds from the expo were donated to Upper Murray bushfire relief which is supporting a cause close to home. Thanks to everyone who stopped by to say hello!
