Volunteer Opportunities

With volunteering it's not really a case of 'what can you do?' It's more about 'what would you like to do?'

There are a wide range of volunteering opportunities within the region, including:

  • Get involved in a community event, such as a planting day, wildlife monitoring day, or working bee
  • Join a community group such as Landcare, Friends, Parklands or others which often have ongoing projects
  • Become a Waterwatch monitor and help contribute to long term water quality monitoring
  • Use your skills to provide volunteer support to community groups.

If you are interested, the CMA can provide you with some training or contacts for the relevant groups.  See the following for details.

Community Groups

Many community groups, such as Landcare and Friends groups, operate in the region and provide a range of volunteering opportunities. Find your preferred options here.
