A tree planting morning will be run by Ovens Landcare Network in conjunction with NECMA , the Alpine Shire and Planet Ark along the OVENS RIVER LOOP walk Myrtleford.

Ovens Landcare Network in conjunction with the Alpine shire and NECMA are hosting a National Tree Day activity along the Ovens River Loop walk, assembling at Rotary Park. 

The Ovens River Loop site development/restoration requires further shrub plantings to increase the available habitat for native species that are present. We are aiming to increase biodiversity at the same time, beautify the Ovens River Loop. 

This is your chance to join your local community and take part in a conservation project- a chance to learn about native flora and fauna and meet other like-minded community members.
