Bush for Birds Launch and Tree Planting Day

'Bush for Birds' is a four year project supporting landholders with habitat management and protection activities like fencing, revegetation and weed control. Come and plant a tree for our endangered birds!

The project launch will include a community tree planting event. It's a great chance to contribute to threatened species conservation in a practical way.

There will also be opportunities for local landholders to chat with Trust for Nature and North East CMA staff about grants that are currently available to assist them with habitat management on their land.

The event will be held at North East Water's decommissioned Barnawartha treatment plant. Head north out of Chiltern on the Chiltern-Howlong Rd for 6 km. Turn right onto Ryans Rd, continue for 1 km and the site entrance is on the left (after Teal Track). Free BBQ lunchl

Please RSVP for catering purposes by 5pm Wednesday 12th June willf@tfn.org.au or 0418 300 959
