Permanent Top Dressed Trial Field Day

The Department of Environment and Primary Industries (DEPI) is hosting a field day and forum to celebrate the Permanent Top-Dressed (PTD) experiment, which was established at DEPI Rutherglen in 1914. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from scientists and field experts on what has been learnt over the past 100 years, and contribute to discussions on how this information can inform future directions.


Wise Water Ways Workshop

A Workshop in Stream Management Principles and Practices. Wise Water Ways Workshops offer new and current waterways practitioners the opportunity to gather, discuss and learn from a wide range of Australian and overseas waterways experts, researchers and managers. Many of the workshop speakers present new research findings and developments, and offer their first hand experience in stream management.

Indigenous Fire Forum

Join the North East Catchment Management Authority and the Kiewa Catchment Landcare Group for the Indigenous Fire Forum. Presenters include Professor Bill Gammage, Author of the multi-award winning book; "The Biggest Estate on Earth - How Aborigines made Australia" This event will be delivered by Traditional Owners, Landcare & Country Fire Authority.
