Expressions of Interest (EOIs) are now open for irrigators in the North East Catchment Management Authority (CMA) region and the dryland areas of the Goulburn Broken CMA to access financial incentives aimed at improving water use efficiency and adapt to climate change.
Eligible irrigators may apply for up to $4,000 (excluding GST) in funding, with a 50% co-contribution required. Incentives are available to support:
This program is administered by the North East CMA in collaboration with Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action, Goulburn Murray Water and Agriculture Victoria.
Project officers from Agriculture Victoria will be available to provide technical advice, assist in assessing individual needs, and support applicants in defining the scope of their proposals.
