Interesting and important work is currently being conducted around the North East to help protect and
enhance threatened species. Come along to an exciting and informative afternoon to hear some of the stories from Landcare groups, universities, government and other organisations who are undertaking this
critical work. Projects include community engagement, genetic sampling and population monitoring to
nest box placement, species translocation and habitat reconstruction.
Presentations will be followed by a
discussion about future priorities for threatened species in North East Victoria.
