Position vacant: Senior Project Officer Biodiversity

Are you passionate about improving biodiversity in a regional rural landscape? Are you an experienced professional who has excellent project management and strategic thinking skills?

The North East CMA is a government agency, working with the community, government and funding organisations to address the ‘big’ natural resource management issues facing our region, including adapting to climate change, fostering sustainable agriculture, managing cultural heritage and identifying the impacts of ‘tree change’ trends on land management in the North East.

The primary focus of this role is to:

  • Plan and manage delivery of biodiversity projects funded under Australian and Victorian Government programs
  • Support the development of future biodiversity projects in collaboration with other staff and regional stakeholders

This is a full time, ongoing position with a salary package of $84,201.53 - $93,442.88 plus superannuation, which will be negotiated based on experience. North East CMA Offices are currently located in Tallangatta, Wangaratta and Wodonga.
