Is your backyard harbouring invasive weeds? Learn how to identify and control invasive woody weeds at this practical workshop.

Hear from the Bangerang Ngalan Bitja Ranger Team who will demonstrate some of the tools and methods they use to take out some of the worst weeds in Australia to improve habitat for Platypus.

Bring the kids along for some school holiday fun with nature-based activities including pyrography (decorative wood burning) and water bug sampling.

This activity is jointly funded by the Australian Government's Natural Heritage Trust under the Urban Rivers and Catchments Program, the Victorian Government, and Melbourne Water, under the guidance of the Arthur Rylah Institute (ARI), with the support of One Tree Planted, City of Ballarat, Coliban Water, Zoos Victoria and Catchment Management Authorities. Wodonga Urban Landcare Network (WULN) invites you to a practical field day for farmers and landholders with Uncle Allan Murray from the Duduroa Dhargal Aboriginal Corporation.

Learn how the project at Ryans Lagoon Nature Conservation Reserve is helping to restore Country while supporting ongoing cultural practices.

This field day will explore traditional approaches to land management and how they can be integrated into property management.
