This year's forum themes will centre around Connecting People with Nature and the annual John Paul Memorial Lecture will be delivered by Deakin University's Honorary Associate Professor Mardie Townsend.

Topics covered at the forum will include:

• Enhancing the Volunteer Experience
• Marketing Natural Resource Management
• Citizen Science

North East Catchment Management Authority together with Trust for Nature, Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning, Parks Victoria and Charles Sturt University's Institute for Land, Water and Society have partnered to deliver the 2017 North East Environment Forum.
