The prevailing hot and dry conditions are challenging producers to provide a reliable water supply to their livestock.
Agriculture Victoria is inviting producers to a free evening workshop. This event will help attendees to examine their current farm water supplies and explore practical strategies to prepare for future livestock water requirements.
Topics covered include:
• Seasonal outlook
• Animal health and welfare
• How much water does your farm need?
• How much water can you store?
• Setting trigger points for critical decision making
• Short-term options and long-term planning.
