Agriculture Victoria is inviting producers to a free workshop. 

This event will provide an overview of the climatic information and technology that landholders can access to assist making decisions on their properties.

Topics covered include:

• Long term rainfall history and key climate drivers of seasonal variability
• Recent trends, what’s normal, what isn’t and what might be next
• Understand forecasts and what they can and can’t do
• Insights for managing climate risk in agriculture
• The Agriculture Victoria soil moisture probe network system and methodology
• Understand how soil moisture monitoring can provide an insight in to seasonal conditions
• Using technology such as soil moisture monitoring for decision making.
