Woodland birds in particular are seriously under threat and private properties can have a huge impact helping to protect them. These birds are not only a joy to have on our property, they help with balancing insect populations, pollination and many other services. We can see very quick results for our efforts.
Join Ben Humphries from BirdLife Australia and learn the ways you can make your property more welcoming to birds, and then visit a Wooragee property to see how this could happen on the ground.
The morning will
- start inside the hall with a look at what are the main principles and practices- what do different birds need,
- morning tea and looking at resources that will help you plan
- a visit to a nearby property to see how they could plan their property
Please be at the hall ready to start at 9 am.
