Did you know remnant vegetation and paddock trees are important natural capital that supports pasture health, shelter, and biodiversity on your property?

Join  North East CMA and ANU Sustainable Farms to learn how to identify and protect the natural assets already on your land, and access information on how to enhance those assets, including how to choose the right plants for your revegetation project.

  • Better understand the importance of remnant vegetation and paddock trees and best practice management for biodiversity outcomes.
  • What are other important natural assets, and how do we protect them?
  • Demystifying EVCs (Ecological Vegetation Classes) — and how to use them to choose the right plants for your site
  • Intro to revegetation guides, plus tips and tricks for successful revegetation in remnant vegetation areas

This workshop, which includes a presentation and a farm walk will help you make informed choices for your property and highlight the biodiversity benefits of different farm natural assets with a focus on remnant vegetation.

This project is supported by the Australian Government through funding from the Natural Heritage Trust under the Climate-Smart Agriculture Program.
